What to Expect When Your Training with Suzie Cooney “RESULTS”
Whether you desire to increase your performance to be a better surfer, stand up paddler, windsurfer or just need to lose unwanted weight, I can help you break through any barriers that are preventing you from success! You may be coming off an injury, just had a baby or want to simply feel energized again. Many clients experience the “a ha” moment within as early as our first session.
A thorough postural, fitness and lifestyle assessment, including movement observations to observe your functional status, blood pressure screening, before and after pictures if desired,cardio evaluation and circumfrance measurements, is all included. This critical step to your success and will allow us, together, to program and map out a road to achieving your goals! Allow at least an hour and a half for our first session. Believe me, this will be a workout!
By gathering this important data regarding your current physical and health status, fitness goals and personal desires, we will be able to systematically integrate a functional program that has been established to improve all functional abilities (flexibility, balance, power, strength, etc) along with establishing high levels of functional strength, neuromuscular efficiency and dynamic flexibility.
This program (refer to the OPT™ section) has also been extremely successful in reducing body fat, increasing lean muscle mass and improving overall health in most clients! Each session includes core, balance and strength training. We may also include interval cardio components too.
I provide towels, fluids and snacks to keep you well hydrated and fueled for fun! I also track your performance each and every time so I can evaluate where and if we need to make changes in your program to get the desired results.
Each workout is safe and exciting every time. Remember, we don’t want your body to plateau or for you to be bored. Your program will be unique and especially designed to meet your expectations. It will be challenging at times, but I promise to make it educational and fun! I will be with you, side by side, encouraging you and spotting you when necessary.
